Lenny Henry is British comedy royalty, having been in showbusiness since the mid-1970s, winning the talent show New Faces at 16, and going on to do shows such as The Fosters, Tiswas and Three of a Kind and a stint at Radio 1. These appearances led to his own self-titled show, and he became a regular on the alternative comedy circuit, also releasing DVDs with good reviews.
